Subject: Jago Update

This is just an Update information that reminds the users of Jago to get the newest version 3.67.

The move style dialog has been fixed, so that it will now save the move style in any case.
If you have an old version, there are some more fixes you should go for.

http://www.kibo114.com/download/kibo114_11.exe

It is a Korean freeware (704k) which searchs and displays opening patterns from its Korean semi-pro game collections. only for Windows 95, 98 and only in Korean.

Bottom two big buttons : clear, "search"
Uppter right : next move, result
right middle :" review"

I made a correction.

Put some stones on the big board
Then drag cursor from upper left to lower right to make "rectangular" to indicate a pattern you want to search and clik on "search" , and you will get a game list in right window. then choose a game and click on "review"

Subject: PilotGOne update: version 0.6.2 is out!

Hi all,

the new version of PilotGOne, the world-famous SGF viewer/recorder for PalmOS, has just been released.

Some of the new features are:
- a better SGF support (supporting GameComment but also inserting new variations _after_ the current one, etc.),
- a new  'add mark' mode to let you enter the markups that you can see since previous version (including some labels),
- a wonderful documentation, explaining how to get the best out of PilotGOne (thanks again Harry!),
- and a few bug fixes...

You can get PilotGOne directly from Brian's website:

http://ithil.org/pilotgone/pilotgone.html

or through PalmOS software resources like PalmGear H.Q.

PilotGOne is a freeware distributed under GNU G.P.L. and we welcome all contributions (we just included a few ones in the latest version, see the documentation for more details, so many thanks to Tomas Brauer and The Nose who Knows).

If you have any question regarding the use or the development of PilotGOne
please e-mail us.

Brian Brunswick and Sylvain Soliman.

Subject: ANN: uliGo - a program to practice go problems

Hi all,

uliGo 0.1 is now available on my web page. Look at

http://www.g0ertz.de/uligo/

It is a free (GNU General Public License), cross-platform (written in Python) program, which uses SGF files as input, so that you can easily create your own problem database. See the web page for more details, screenshots, documentation etc.

Of course I would like to avoid that the program is distributed any further under the name "Shodan". So, if you already downloaded Shodan, please replace your copy with a copy of uliGo.

Furthermore, in order to avoid any copyright problems, I replaced the problem collections which came with Shodan with two collections (easy and hard, 40 problems each) of problems composed by myself or taken from classical sources which are out of copyright. Again, if you already downloaded Shodan's problem collections, please replace them by the new ones.

Finally, one remark for Linux/Unix users: it has been pointed out to me that at the moment it is not possible to install uliGo system-wide without making some changes to the program. I will make this possible in the next version. For the moment I recommend that you just keep it in your home directory.

As before, I would be glad to receive your comments (especially bug reports), at uligo@g0ertz.de .
